At Care Law Colorado, LLC, we work hard to make long-term care as accessible and affordable as possible for our Denver-area clients. By creating comprehensive care plans for them, we allow our clients to have peace of mind knowing that they will be cared for and their assets will be protected.
The Planning Process
After you contact us to set up a free initial consultation about the type of care plan we can create for you, we take the following steps:
Have an Initial Call With Our Attorney
- Attorney Julie Davis will contact you via telephone. During this initial call, Ms. Davis will have you describe your situation, and she will ask some questions so she better understands your needs.
- Either during this call or immediately thereafter, we will assess your situation and determine exactly how Care Law Colorado can use our variety of practice experience to assist you.
Have an In-Person Meeting With Our Lawyer
- After determining how Care Law Colorado can help, Ms. Davis will sit down with you to explain her recommendations. She will walk you step by step through specific tactics and processes, such as drafting a last will and testament, and explain the cost of each step to you.
- For the majority of our services, we charge an affordable, fixed fee. This allows you to know upfront exactly what you will pay.
Receive a Customized Written Plan
- Following your in-person meeting with Ms. Davis, she will send you a written copy of the plan she discussed with you.
- Ms. Davis will also send a checklist of personal tasks that will need to be completed, such as closing a bank account.
We Take Care of the Rest
- Care Law Colorado will then handle the entire process until it reaches completion. We manage all activities such as preparation of documents, dealing with agencies, assessing special medical needs and evaluating facilities.
- Throughout the process, we give you regular status updates so that you know what is going on and can have peace of mind knowing that trusted professionals are working for you.
Although we follow this standard process for each of our clients, the results of this process are custom tailored to the specific needs of each individual client.
